Eoglosselytron perfectum, fore wing (after Martynova,
in Rohdendorf et al, 1961)
These small insects endopterygius insects resembled, and may have been related to, the Caloneurodea. Most species had a well-marked basal expansion enclosing rows of cellules in the costal area of the tegminous fore wing (see above figure.)
The order was originally considered to have a stratigraphic range from the Early Permian to the Late Jurassic but is now considered to be Permian.
